So many people do it, who am I not to follow ;-)
Besides, a very close friend of mine always told me - take a piece of paper and put your goals on it, then keep reading it every morning (wow). She's very clever and organized person, so I'll do it now, but my way - without wasting paper ;-)
Let's start already:
- The most important thing for 2008 for me is to finish my apartment - get the bathroom done, take some furniture and move myself in there. It'll be really great, the best thing being that my office will be only 3 minutes away (just across the street) so I won't waste 2 hours a day in public transport. And the neighborhood is really great.. can't wait anymore :-)
- Next thing is my job - I like it here at Propeople, and I believe there is a place for personal development, so I'll try to be more productive. That's why I'm going to decrease the number of external projects I'm working on (3-4 company web sites and a full blown CRM application). I feel that they're only eating my time..
- I really want to start contributing to the open source projects I like and use: PHP, Zend Framework, CodeIgniter, Gentoo Linux and others.
- There is a project that I'm considering, it's something like a CRM application for a NGO I'm member of - CVS - Bulgaria. I've decided to release it under an open source license, but there is some work to be done first :-)
- CVS in this point too - I'm hoping to have some time in the summer for a SCI workcamp. Also there is a local project that I'm trying to contribute to - it's the Vlahi eco center, near Kresna.
- I want to read more books through 2008, to discover new aspects of life and so on.. :-)
- My education is the next thing - that's my last year in the university, I'll have to take some (well - many) exams and overall be more serious about it. It's so hard to think about school when you have a well paid and really satisfying job..
- Do skydiving again or at least try some bungee or something.. just to feel the other side. Maybe some rock climbing would be nice too, haven't done it for 3 years already.. More hiking this year, there are so many peaks and other beautiful places deserving to be seen.
OK, that's it for now, maybe I'll add some other things if something pops out of my mind :-)
