My name is Martin Martinov, I'm born and I live in Bulgaria.
I am an IT specialist - a web developer and open source software enthusiast. My expertise lies with LAMP setups (Linux - Apache - MySQL - PHP). I am capable of administering a variety of Linux distributions (Gentoo Linux is my preferred choice).
My primary skills are as a PHP developer - I have over 7 years of commercial experience. I possess considerable knowledge of JavaScript, xHTML and database design & management.
I've spent the last 3 years working in the Open Source department of a Danish company named Propeople which has the greatest Drupal team in my country. There I've participated in the development of more than 40 Drupal projects plus some e-commerce solutions based on magento.
I totally agree with the statement that the best open source content management system (CMS) is Drupal. This is also the opinion of many experts and the result of some competitions.
Currently I'm working on my own, my time is occupied mainly with Drupal projects. Also I really like it when I have the opportunity to develop cool custom web apps based on CodeIgniter, ZendFramework and jQuery.
